A Touch to the Heart/觸動我的心靈

 

曾經有這麼一次,排好了兩天的業務拜訪行程,清晨從台北開車到屏東,在屏東市區偶然瞥見「墾丁」的指標,心中產生一種奇怪的感覺,只是當時馬不停蹄的拜訪多位客戶也沒有在意。到了晚上8點多行程結束又再次看到「墾丁」的指標時,奇妙的感覺越來越強烈。

Once, I had arranged a schedule of a two-day business trip. In the morning, I drove from Taipei to Pingtung, and I unexpectedly came across the signpost saying “Kenting” in downtown Pingtung. A strange feeling occurred in my heart. However, I did not pay attention to it at that moment, because I had to visit many customers nonstop. When I finished my visits, it was over 8 p.m., and I saw the signpost saying “Kenting” again. Then, such strange feeling was getting stronger and stronger.  

    我把車停在路邊,閉上眼睛與自己心靈對話,然後張開眼睛看看車窗外的人群和熙來攘往的車輛。

   I parked my car on the roadside. I closed my eyes and had a conversation with my mind. Then, I opened my eyes, watching the throngs outside my car windows as well as the bustling vehicles.

 

我再次發動引擎,直奔墾丁!到了南灣,在靠近海邊的民宿住下來。

I started my car engine again, driving straight to Kenting! After I arrived at Nanwan, I stayed in a home-stay near the seashore.

 

不需要五星級豪華飯店,我要的是海的感覺、海的聲音、海的呼吸和放鬆。原來是內在心靈告訴我,長期的疲憊需要休息了,機械式的行程和市區飯店已經麻痺了我的生活行為,墾丁的指標其實就是觸動了我內心的需求。

I didn’t need a five-star luxurious hotel. What I needed was the feeling to a sea, the sound of the sea, and the breath of the sea for me to relax. As it turned out, my inner heart told me that I need to take a rest for relieving my long-term fatigue. My life behavior had been paralyzed by monotonous schedules and downtown hotels. Actually, the signpost of Kenting triggered my inner needs.

 

第二天清晨,踩著海沙、呼吸著海的味道,向著大海伸展懶腰、欣賞旭日朝陽,帶著滿足又愉快的心情開始一天的工作。

In the second morning, when stepping on sea sand and breathing the air near the sea, I stretched myself facing the sea and then watched the morning sun. Later, I began my work with a satisfied and joyful mood.

 

    心靈深處的潛意識要表達什麼,有可能就是自己想要的、想知道的、在乎的,如果可以抓住那個感覺,然後去探索、瞭解,試著用自我對話找出答案,結果會越來越清楚,越來越認識真實的自己。

    What the sub-consciousness of our inner souls intends to express may be the things we desire, want to know, or care about. The outcome will become clear and clear and we will get better understanding about our true selves, if we can catch that feeling and then explore and understand it, trying to find out the answers by having a conversation with ourselves.

 

無論什麼樣想法,不要否認它,我會試著去探索及瞭解這個想法真正的背後原因是什麼,因為,表層的壓抑也無法掩飾內在真實的自己,那是內在自己要告訴表層自己可貴的接觸。

No matter what the thought may be, do not deny it. For me, I will try to explore and understand what the real hidden cause for such a thought, because my real inner self can’t be covered by surface self-constraints.

 

什麼樣的感覺,能夠觸動情緒和心境?有時腦海會突然莫名其妙的閃過一些念頭例如:翹課、離職、休息、旅行、工作、人物、大自然景物、音樂旋律、各種情緒的反應,這是潛意識的自然反應,跟當下的情境、心情、工作,一點關係也沒有

   What kind of feeling will touch my heart and my mood? Sometimes certain thoughts will occur unexpectedly in my brain, ex. skipping a class, quitting my job, taking a rest, go travelling, working, or thinking of some persons, natural scenery, music melodies, or having any kind of emotional reactions. Such thoughts are the natural reactions in my sub-consciousness, and they may have nothing to do with my environment, mood, or work at that moment.      

 

這些突如其來的想法,可能只是一瞬間的感覺而已,如果沒有留意,那個念頭很快就會溜走,甚至事後都回想不起來,跟夢境的感覺有點類似。

Such unexpected thoughts may be my feeling at that split moment. If I pay little attention to any of them, such thoughts may slip away quickly. I may not even recall them afterward. Such a situation is similar to a dream.

 

    如果出現那種念頭,我會先用紙筆把它寫下來,等獨處或空閒時再拿出來看。慢慢感受代表的意思是什麼?要告訴我什麼?那個瞬間的念頭可能是內心要說的話,是潛意識想要表達的呼喚,那種感覺觸動了心靈的渴望和需求,是很貼切的自我對話機會。

 If such a thought occur, I will write it down first and read it when I am solitary or free. I will slowly decipher what it means and what things it tries to tell me. Such a thought at that split moment may be the words from deep down in my heart. It may be the call expressed from my sub-consciousness. Such feeling touches my spiritual aspirations and requests, and this may be a perfect opportunity for me to have a conversation with myself.    

 

每個人心中會觸動到的點和感動的事情都不盡相同,可能只是音樂當中的幾個旋律、文章當中的幾個字、電影中的一幕、朋友的一句話、眼睛看到的景物,心中就會產生悲傷、難過、哭泣或喜悅、溫暖、感動的種種情緒反應。

Everyone will be touched by different aspects or things they may be some melodies in a piece of music, some words in an article, one act of a movie, some words from a friend, and the scenery we see. Then, we may experience various kinds of emotional reactions in our hearts sorrowful, sad, and weepy, or joyful, warm, and touched.

 

無論是什麼樣的反應,當那種感覺來的時候就靜靜的接納它,悲傷的感覺就讓它盡情宣洩,喜悅的感覺就靜靜的享受它,這是外在情境觸動了內心意識的反應,對正面或負面情緒都是很好的釋放。

No matter what reaction it may be, we should accept it calmly when that feeling shows up─ to vent sad feeling heartily or enjoy joyful feeling calmly. All of these are the reactions of our inner consciousness touched by external environments. They will be great reliefs to our positive or negative sentiments.    

 

經常心靈對話、開啟心門,會越來越愛自己、清楚自己!

By having conversations with our minds to enlighten our hearts, we will love and understand ourselves even more!
